Annaatthe to hit the screens for Pongal next yearProducers Sun Pictures have tweeted that upcoming Thalaivar movie Annaatthe will be released on Pongal 2021. This will be Rajinkanth's 168th movie. The movie is directed by Siva. The movie also features other big names including Meena, Khushbu Sundar, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh and Prakash Raj.

However, certain restrictions are placed to the production companies for such works. The government has prescribed a maximum of 5 workers for editing, 5 for dubbing, 10-15 for VFX and so on. Also the production houses are required to obtain the necessary passes for such works.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor no more!Bollywood Actor Rishi Kapoor died of Leukemia on April 30 in Mumbai. His death came less than 24 hours after Irrfan Khan passed away. Like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor too has won the filmfare award for best actor for his performance in Bobby, which went on to become a major hit during the time. The actor was 67 when he had to face an unfortunate demise.

Marvel has pushed back a number of its movies owing to Covid 19 pandemic. Black Widow originally planned for a May 1 release has been postponed to Nov 6. It is to be seen if this delay could push other movies further than the planned dates. Some of the major movies planned after Black Widow are Eternals, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Thor: Love and Thunder.

The actor provided the breakup of the amount to be donated - Rs 25 lakh towards PM Cares fund, Rs 50 lakh towards TN Chief minister's Public Relief fund, Rs 10 lakh towards Kerala chief minister's Public Relief fund, Rs 5 lakh each towards Andhra, Telengana, Pondicherry and Karnataka Chief minister's public relief fund and Rs 25 lakh towards The Film Employees Federation of South India. In addition to the mentioned amount, Actor Vijay has also donated a generous amount to the fan clubs to directly help the affected people.
